Today's teams come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and they also vary in their overall mission. These programs provide assessment opportunities for individuals and teams, as well as skills development for those in the demanding roles of team leader, team member, sponsor and champion.  
THE BASICS
OF TEAM
DEVELOPMENT
A 1-day workshop that covers the basic components of developing and establishing a team. Topics include: types of teams, the team/leadership continuum, team dynamics and the stages of team development. Session includes discussions, exercises and team/self assessments.

Recommended for new and developing teams; new team leaders.

MBTI WORKSHOP FOR TEAM DEVELOPMENT

A 2-day session, including all the basic information about the MBTI instrument, including its history, research background. Based on the completion of the MBTI questionnaire, each team member receives their own report. Team profile reviewed. The focus is on the team's ability to maximize communication, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and and decision-making.

Recommended for new and developing teams whose goal is to become more effective, collaborative and productive.

TEAM LEADER TRAINING
A 1-2 day workshop series which includes the skills required by team leaders in today's business world. Skill areas include: Coaching, Facilitation, Training,
Effective Meetings, Feedback. The role of the Team Leader is explored and clarified, and a Personal Action Plan is developed. The Basics of Team Development strongly suggested.

Recommended for new Team Leaders, as well as former "managers/supervisors" who may find this role to be challenging and uniquely different from their previous role(s).

TEAM MEMBER TRAINING
A series of workshops, customized to the needs of the group, but will typically include these skill areas: Feedback, Conflict Management, Active Listening, Problem solving, Continuous Quality Improvement. The Basics of Team Development is also strongly suggested as an initial base.

Recommended for members of newly-formed teams, or for any team members who feel they and their teams could become more knowledgeable and productive.

CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT

A 1- day workshop focusing on the concepts of continuous quality, customer service, and getting results. The concepts of internal and external customer are explored, along with identifying their needs and how well you currently meet those needs. Practical exercises are used to create a specific "map" and plan to take away for results.

Recommended for any group, team or department that would like to clarify their focus on the customer and improve the products/services they offer for higher level results.

TEAMBUILDING

Teambuilding, using the Birkman Method, will help team members realize the benefits of teams, manage team conflicts and develop action plans to ensure productive collaboration. The Birkman method is a self- assessment tool that is used to describe your most productive behavior in 11 key areas, and details specifically how you prefer to be treated by others. It also provides a prioritized description of your top interests and thinking styles. Group exercises allow the team to learn how to apply the individual information in order to strengthen the team's effectiveness.

Teambuilding, using the Birkman Method, will help team members realize the benefits of teams, manage team conflicts and develop action plans to ensure productive collaboration.

RESOLVING CONFLICT IN A
DIVERSE WORKPLACE

This skills-oriented workshop focuses on conflict as a normal aspect of the changing diverse workplace and the ways in which such conflict can become an opportunity for enhancing productivity, organizational effectiveness, and diversity awareness. Participants build and refine the skills necessary to understand, appreciate, and communicate respect for others. Real-life case studies are used for conflict resolution, managing diversity, teambuilding, and leadership training.
